The Teatro Rubén Martínez Villena (Rubén Martínez Villena Theater) is situated just a block away from Plaza Martí in the Remedios, a city in the province of Villa Clara, Cuba. Inside this important cultural institution, visitors can enjoy dance, music, and theatre by both local talents and artists from all over the country.

The theater is named after Rubén Martínez Villena, a Cuban writer. However, the theater can also be recognized by another name. Before the Cuban Revolution, the theater was inaugurated under the name Teatro Miguel Bru in 1923.

The stage inside the theater has been home for performers of all kinds thanks to its close relationships with several cultural institutions, such as the Casa de Cultura Agustín Jiménez Crespo, and other municipal organizations.
