Finding you in almost all towns or cities, taxis are near the main tourist places or bus stations or in the country's airports. You can find them on the street, at taxi stands or you can call them to come and pick you up wherever you need.

The price per passenger is approximately for free service in Havana and the provinces and 8 CUP per full car, which is divided between the passengers.

Within the different types of taxis you can find the classic cars of Cuba, which are cars manufactured between the 1940s and 1950s. The cocotaxi are another type of peculiar ecological taxi that are typical of the main Cuban tourist cities such as Havana, Varadero or Trinidad. This is the name of these great three-passenger pedal tricycles, covered with their typical open spherical shell in the shape of a coconut. Some with their small engine to help and the driver does not suffer on exits and hills.

It should be noted that there are also Cocotaxis for use only for Cubans, which are black, unlike those for tourists, which are painted yellow.
