The bus in Cuba is one of the most used means of transport, especially in tourist areas, as it is a very efficient and reliable means in which you can place your trust to reach the desired places.

In Cuba there are two types of buses, the provincial buses that connect various towns and urban buses that run through the city.
Cuban provincial buses are those commonly used by the inhabitants of Cuba and are normally controlled by a conductor, and Viazul, from the main transport company for tourists to travel through Cuba, comfortably with air conditioning, and good punctuality.
You will travel to the most important tourist spots in Cuba, having stops along the trip where you can taste the traditional gastronomy of the lands you travel, you will stretch your legs and recharge your batteries for the rest of the journey, briefly getting to know these places.
Viazul will also provide you with several routes that link the most touristy places on the island with certain areas, whose price is approximately 25 CUP. In the cities of greater tourist interest you will enjoy the experience of double-decker buses with an upper part.
Urban buses or guaguas, as they are called in Cuba, are a popular means of public transportation.
The urban buses have their route and stops previously set around the city, where you politely wait and get on, so it is recommended that you ask for the last one to arrive in order to save your place and join it.
The price of urban buses ranges between 10 and 25 CUP, making it a very economical means of transport. Once you get on, you will have to move to the rear of the bus, since you enter from the front and only exit from the back.
