In Cuba you will find a wide variety of accommodation options, which depend a lot on the area of the island that you are going to visit. Among the places where you can stay you will find:
-Hotels: Cuba, being one of the most touristic countries in all of Latin America, offers you an infinity of hotels of all categories where you can stay. All hotels are usually equipped with amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, television, etc.
-Private houses: Private houses are a very characteristic type of accommodation in Cuba.
Staying in a private house you will know first-hand what the daily life of Cubans is like. The owners are usually people with great kindness and will provide you with all the help you need as long as it is in their hands.
If you plan to travel to Cuba by yourself, the option of staying in a private room in a private house is an excellent option which will be cheaper than a hotel but will still be very comfortable.

The facilities they offer are very basic, you will find concrete bungalows that consist of bunk beds and showers or tents.
There are different types of campsites, national campsites and international ones. The national campsites are intended solely for Cubans, and the international campsites are intended for both Cubans and tourists, and have more amenities, such as air conditioning. You can find up to twelve international campsites throughout the island, and some of them have little to envy the comforts offered by many hotels, their price is usually around 10 and 30 CUC per night.
National campsites are much cheaper than international ones, but the amenities they offer are much less, but if you still want to stay in them, they can rent you a bungalow as long as the availability is more than enough.
