San Antonio de los Baños, in the province of Artemisa, Cuba, is a town that lives for art and has a surprising cultural wealth.
The most representative of San Antonio de los Baños is its peculiar Museum of Humor, unique in the whole country, where the humorous tradition of Cuba is collected from colonial times to the present. There you can see works such as those of the renowned Carlos Julio Villar Alemán.
San Antonio de los Baños is also internationally known thanks to the Biennial Festival of Humor, where distinguished artists from all over the world take part, but also for having the International School of Cinema and TV, which was created in 1986 and because it was here where the internationally famous singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez, one of the greatest exponents of Cuban music, was born.
