Cuba is a predominantly Catholic country, it is estimated that 60% of the Cuban population is Catholic, but it is a country in which very different religions coexist.
Santeria is the cult of the Afro-Cubans in Cuba who were enslaved during the colonial era, it has its origin mainly in the Yoruba culture and religion, which were syncretized in the Catholic religion imposed by the colonizers.
