In the center of the city of Las Tunas, Capital of the province with the same name, there you can find Casa Iberoamericana de la Décima Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo (The Iberian American House of the Tenth Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo), also known as the Casa de Cultura (Culture House). This institution, famous in Las Tunas for promoting the material and immaterial peasant culture, has a meeting place where interesting experiences are shared, old traditions are taken up again and ties with other nations are extended. This place collaborates with institutions that promote and help Cuban cultural manifestations. For this purpose, different events are organized.

Café ConVerso is one of these cultural events not to be missed: a cosy gathering in the form of an evening get-together, whose slogan is "Poesía en sorbo que conversa" (Poetry in a sip that converses). Music is played in the background and there is a reading of versi trovando texts. On the other hand, there is the Poetry Recital, a quarterly space with a guest poet and live music in which presentations are made and entertaining readings aloud are made.

One Friday a month, the Peña de la Décima "El Cucalambé" is held, a meeting of the Original Cucalambé Ensemble where there are frequent rounds of tunes, forced footwork and oral narrations.

On the first Saturday of each month, in Vicente García Park, at 10:00 a.m., the meeting of the Peña de la décima infantil "Pepito Mayedo" takes place.

The Iberoamerican Night is held on the third Saturday of each month at 21:00 in the inner courtyard of the House of Culture. Students get together and pay tribute to a different country, spreading a sample of the culture of the selected country, such as exhibitions, typical dishes or audiovisual projections.
