In this Criadero de Cocodrilos (Crocodile Sanctuary), south of Nueva Gerona, on the Isla de la Juventud, Cuba, you can come and see the life of this feared and ferocious animal species. The farm has been of vital importance for the conservation of this species and currently is home to around 500 specimens.
The staff will guide you safely on your journey and you will be able to discover the life cycle of these animals, as well as their breeding and feeding activities.
Crocodiles are released into their natural environment once they reach the age of 7.
