The Faro de Carapachibey (Carapachibey Lighthouse), on the Isla de la Juventud in Cuba, is a a long tower 60 meters high, making it the tallest of its kind in all of Latin America. These concrete structures are located in the Cove of Carapachibey, 90 km from Nueva Gerona.
Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea from the top. An unforgettable panoramic view from which you will be able to contemplate the innumerable and colorful shades that draw the blue waters of the ocean and the sandy contour of the mainland.
The structure rises above the coast, withstanding the fury of hurricanes and all kinds of weather. For this reason, it has undergone several repairs until its last restructuring in 1983 and subsequent rehabilitation in 2010.
