Cayo Jutías is located 65 km northwest of Viñales, in Pinar del Río, Cuba. It is an extensive 3 km strip of sand that makes up one of the best and most picturesque beaches in the entire province.
The virgin beaches of white sand are the ideal place to rest, to relax and to spend a day in paradise. Also, you can admire beautiful starfish and incredible mangroves. Although, without a doubt, what you cannot miss are the sunsets, when the turquoise water turns pink.

Cayo Jutías has an incredible and untouched nature. So it is an ideal environment if you want to relax in the middle of nature. The most outstanding aspect is the beach, known between the Cubans as the Playa de las Estrellas. As it cannot be of another way due to the great quantity of sea stars that live in its waters. Which makes it an ideal beach for snorkelling.
One of the best-kept secrets of this cayo (key) is its sunsets. With the sunset the turquoise waters gradually turn pink, generating a spectacular range of colours that will not leave you indifferent. It is one of those memories that you will not be able to forget.

The northern coast of the sandy area has shallow waters and a huge sandy area. This part is ideal to visit with family and children and spend an incredible day at the beach in a paradisiacal environment.
There is also a restaurant on the island where you can try the tasty local food on the beachfront.
Of course, you can also enjoy water sports. Cayo Jutías is an ideal place for kayaking or snorkelling. If you prefer diving, you can rent all the necessary equipment at the island's diving centre.
How to get to Cayo Jutias?
The best way to travel from Viñales to Cayo Jutias is by private transfer. Although it is a somewhat long journey, about two hours, it will certainly be worthwhile to discover this heavenly place.
