The stalactites and stalagmites that populate the site form strange and fascinating figures on the walls, on which cave paintings, remains of utensils and human remains were also found.
The río San Vicente (San Vicente River) runs through the cave, so to complete your visit you will have to go for a wonderful boat ride inside the cave.
How to get to Cueva del Indio de Viñales?
There are numerous options for reaching the Cueva del Indio from Viñales. You can go by taxi or by the tourist bus of Valle de Viñales (Viñales Valley). However, if you want to enjoy a special moment and the flora and fauna around you, the best option is to take a pleasant bike ride.
