The Teatro José Jacinto Milanés is one of the architectural symbols of Pinar del Río, in Cuba, due to its impressive neoclassical style facade. Enjoy a play in this mausoleum of the scenic arts full of national history.
The facilities have 540 seats and the wooden structure was built in 1845, which makes it one of the oldest theatres in Cuba.
The complex closed its doors in 1991 due to the bad state of preservation. After a long period of restoration, it was reopened in 2006, now adapted with air conditioning and light and audio systems.
At present, it has a patio in the Sevillian style and a small area for café-concert with 120 chairs available, as well as a small cafeteria in the Spanish style.
