El Pueblo Holandés (Dutch Village) is a small town unique in the Cuban archipelago belonging to Turiguanó, located north of Morón. The uniqueness of its houses along with its picturesque facades makes it a unique place similar to a typical Dutch village.
This small town began to be built by the initiative of the guerrilla Celia Sanchez. Her purpose was to increase the standard of living of the Cuban people who lived there and were especially dedicated to livestock.
The peculiarity of this place makes it an obligatory stop for someone who wants to know a typical Dutch town in the middle of the Caribbean and to know in depth the architectural rarity of its houses all built in the same pattern.
