The archipelago Jardines de la Reina (Gardens of the Queen) is one of the most virgin archipelagos of Cuba and is located in Ciego de Ávila. Nowadays it's considered to be a Marine World Heritage by UNESCO and stands out for possessing more than 600 keys.
Its name has endured in the time since Cristóbal Colón named this archipelago in honor of the queen of Spain.
