La Laguna La Redonda (La Redonda Lagoon) is located about 18 km north of Morón, in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, not far from the Cayo Coco highway. This zone is characterized by its high concentration of mangroves and because it has the highest number of perch and trout on the island by Km2. So, if your passion is fishing or enjoying the varied native fauna, this natural environment is ideal to visit.
In this area, you will find a multitude of outdoor activities, such as relaxing 45-minute boat trips for a minimum of four people, at 4 CUC per passenger. On this tour, you will be shown fascinating places that normally are difficult to access. Fishing trips are a little more expensive, but it is worth throwing your line in waters where some have caught black bass weighing up to 9.5 kg.
The area also has a bar-restaurant, with a picturesque rustic air. Here you can enjoy the typical fish fillet of the area, a real delight for your palate.
