The Alturas de Banao (Banano Heights) are located only 17 km from Sancti Spíritus, in Cuba. It is a natural enclosure and ecological reserve located in the complex mountain range of Guamuhaya. This natural space takes great conservation measures for both the fauna and the flora that are threatened. This area also is known for the number of species of birds that inhabit it, for example, woodpeckers, zunzuncito, doves aliblancas, and parrots.

In the Alturas de Banao you will also find the jewel of the landscape with impressive views of waterfalls, rivers, valleys... You can enjoy all of this by following a trail indicating the 22 km route to tourists.

During your visit to Alturas de Banao you can't miss the Cortina Blanca waterfalls and have a refreshing bath in its waters.
