The Museo de Arquitectura Trinitaria (Trinidad Architecture Museum) can be found in Trinidad, Sancti Spíritus province, Cuba. It is located on the Sánchez Iznaga family estate, formerly known as the Casa Azul. Visit this monument to colonial wealth transformed today into a museum open to all social classes.
This house was managed by the Iznaga family, large landowners of the area, who were dedicated to the cultivation and trade of tobacco and sugar. Today it is a landmark building in the design of Trinidad's urban fabric.
In 1979 it was permanently inaugurated as a local museum with the purpose of presenting the historical and architectural development of the town and its Creole culture. It consists of 8 rooms that display the ancient constructions of the city and witness its evolution along the last centuries.
