The Iglesia Mayor de la Santísima Trinidad (Church) in Trinidad, Sancti Spíritus province in Cuba, was designed by renowned architects Emilio Echeverría and Ignacio Garrido. The construction process took approximately 75 years, ending in 1892.
It is a combination of the neoclassical style and the Cuban architectural style of the 19th century. The church towers were built later. They were designed by the renowned architect Leonardo Morales.
It is currently formed by 5 naves with barrel vaults and ogival arches. The church has beautiful chapels and carved wooden altars that give it the title of one of the best churches on the island.
