Cerro de la Vigía is a pleasant walking trail among the streets of Trinidad city, Sancti Spíritus province, Cuba. You will finish the route on this 180-meter high elevation from which you can gaze at the city in all its splendour.
From the Iglesia Parroquial, (Parish Church), passing by the Museo Romántico, you'll pass through several important areas of the urban network, such as the destroyed shrine of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria de la Popa, which was part of a former Spanish military hospital. From here you will begin a 30-minute climb up the hill to the radio stations on Cerro de la Vigía, an advantageous position to get a glimpse of Trinidad and the coast, including Playa Ancón.
