The Casa Templo de Santería Yemayá is located in Trinidad, province of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. It's a small museum dedicated to the worship of diverse deities of this Afro-Cuban religion, representing a unique cultural experience that you cannot forget to visit.
The temple has an altar for the goddess of the sea Yemayá, where there are numerous offerings of fruit, water and stones. In the house you can find several santeros or priests who preside over the temple and who usually share with visitors and tourists the traditions they carry out in this place of worship.
On March 19th is when the great festival in honor of the Yemayá is celebrated, to whom they pay constant homage.
