The beautiful Bahía de Jagua, also known as Bahía de Cienfuegos, is a wonderful place to visit, with spectacular fauna and flora that give richness to the province. It is located south of Cienfuegos, in Cuba. It has a natural beauty that is attractive to both foreigners and visitors.
Inside Bahía de Jagua you will find diverse rocky and sandy beaches where you can spend the day, all surrounded by green vegetation including the unique red mangrove. Regarding the fauna, here you will find different marine species such as crustaceans, particularly the white shrimp, and various mollusks.
You will also spot different native birds found in the bay, such as white herons, gannets and different varieties of ducks.
You can access the bay by the high sea through the Canal de Jagua.
