The Museo de Las Lajas, also called the Museo Benny Moré, is a cultural institution dedicated to the versatile and beloved Benny Moré, a singer and composer who was born in this small town in Cienfuegos, Cuba.

Located in a charming 19th century colonial style house, the Museo de Las Lajas has several rooms entirely dedicated to the artist Benny Moré. It is made up of a wide interior courtyard with fruit trees and French windows decorated with railings, making the museum a welcoming place.

As you enter you will find rooms dedicated to his sweet youth, where he began to embrace music. There are also rooms dedicated to his artistic career, where some scores or trophies are exhibited, as well as gifts such as the one by Carlos Robles Godoy. Finally, one last room is dedicated to the current image of the artist, with works of art inspired by him.
