The Museo Casa Natal de Nicolás Guillén (Museum Birthplace of Nicolás Guillén) is one of the main tourist attractions of the historical province of Camagüey, in Cuba. It's a housing constructed at the beginning of the 19th century, and it was here where, in 1902, the prominent national poet Nicolás Guillén Batista was born.
Nicolás Guillén was, besides a recognized poet, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and this house was the headquarters of the Provincial Delegation of the Union of Journalists of the country.
This modest house became a small museum dedicated to the poet who lived there. The institution offers to the curious visitors who come to it the way to approach the author, as well as his valuable works.
