For a few years now, the province of Camagüey, in Cuba, has had the Sala Internacional de Cerámica Artística (International Hall of Artistic Ceramics), an authentic permanent exhibition of different ceramic pieces from more than 25 countries. In addition to the valuable initial 130 works, it has more pieces in different ceramic styles. The total number of sculptures is around 400.
Between 1999 and 2012, the city of Camagüey hosted an event where multiple artists exhibited their works to the public. However, without a fixed place to exhibit them, they varied from one gallery to another. But since then, they had a space destined exclusively for their works. It also has two other areas dedicated to innovative temporary exhibitions, both for guests and for those artists who request it.
Within this space, it is possible to attend interesting music, literature, dance events and see other art collections. There is also an expo-sale of pieces, educational workshops on ceramics and engraving, and fun workshops for children.
