Cabo Cruz is one of the most picturesque places you are able to visit if you travel to the western part of the province of Granma. It is located near the municipality of Niquero in Cuba, a small piece of land, but famous for its particular systems of underwater terraces. Here you will find amazing rock caves as well that will take you back to the pre-colonial era.
If you are a diving, history or just simply Cuba enthusiast, you can not miss such an ideal place where all this leaves room for heavenly landscapes and even the Parque Nacional Desembarco del Granma.
Exactly speaking of heavenly landscapes, special mention has to be made of the 37-metre lighthouse at Cabo Cruz, since even though it does its main function, it allows you to enter and find out more about its architecture and admire the views. It was declared a Monumento Local (Local Monument) in 1991.
