The Casa de Estrada Palma (Home of Estrada Palma) was the residence of the rebel Tomás Estrada Palma who was born in Bayamo. This historical figure knew how to make the most of his good social position and thanks to that he was politically very active. He dominated as a member of the Cuban Revolutionary Party. This led him to become the first president of the Neocolonial Republic of Cuba between 1902 and 1906.
