The Parque Natural Bahía de Naranjo (Bahía de Naranjo Natural Park), located at the coast of Holguín province near the hotel complexes of Guardalavaca, is a reserve where you may have fun in the amazing nature of Cuba in its true splendour and practise many other activities whilst enjoying the views.
It is located at the bahía de Naranjo (Naranjo Bay) where the land bursts into the sea with five cays, the biggest of them called Cayo Jutía (Jutía Cay). On the coast, of irregular tracing, we find the mouth of Naranjo River and many small beaches among which we highlight the Laguna Dorada (Golden Lagoon). Also, around the coast there is a forest group occupying more than 1,200 hectareas that bears more than 600 different flora species.
The place, apart from having been created for the protection and conservation of the ecosystem, is dedicated to ecological tourism. There are various routes to choose from that go through this amazing Natural Park and discover the wild nature of the area, like maritime and terrestrial and it has a small zoo and an aquarium where you will see many different species. Plus you may swim with dolphins, a true and unforgettable experience.
