The Sendero La Sabina (La Sabina Path) to the south from the Centro de Investigaciones para la Montaña (Mountain Investigation Centre) in the Sierra del Cristal, is a place full of splendour for ecotourism lovers that they will find in the Cuban province of Holguín.
This path goes through eight different ecosystems that will offer you a big range of natural species whilst following the orchid route that leads the way. In the tropical rainforest ecosystem, the most significant formed by typical flora in the region, you may find two astonishing samples, the oldest one in the park, a Ocuje Colorado around 150 years old and the Árbol de la Traición.
