The Playa Esmeralda (Esmeralda Beach), located in the touristic complex of Guardalavaca, is one of the key attractions on the Cuban coast for exclusive guests. This beach of astonishing characteristics is a privilege. Only the hotels of the area permit its guests to visit the beach.
It consists of a lovely moon-shaped beach whose name comes from its emerald green water. Its white fine sand is ideal for relaxation under the Caribbean Sun and the cliffs between which we find the beach may help you as a shelter from the sun during the hottest hours.
Under the warm waters bathing the beach we find the amazing coral reef housing a large variety of exotic species. Aquatic sports lovers simply adore this beach, as it is the perfect place for sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling.
The beach line that stretches for 1 km, is privileged as it is near the Parque Natural Bahía de Naranjo (Bahía de Naranjo Natural Park) and this whole provides you with astonishing views to the beach whilst the leafy vegetation of this reserve tops off the remarkable outlook.
