The Cuevas de Saturno (Caves of Saturno), located on the Matanzas-Varadero road, are one of the most popular natural monuments for tourists in Cuba. Space consists of a cave with crystal clear waters where stalagmites and stalactites can be admired.
In spite of the popularity of the area, the truth is that only expert divers with proper equipment can dive due to its limited access. Nevertheless, it is a popular spot for locals to swim, snorkel or enjoy a well-deserved rest at the kiosk located at its entrance.
Although it is not the most suitable place for diving, these caves do not fail in being a spectacular experience. Definitely worth visiting, either to marvel at the beautiful landscape formed by the rock formations that cover all the cave, or to take a unique dip in this beautiful space.
