The Museo Memorial Comandancia de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (Command of the Revolutionary Armed Forces Memorial Museum) is the first of its kind in the municipality of Jagüey Grande, in the Cuban province of Matanzas.
In 1981 it was declared a National Heritage site, because although it had the function of a municipal museum, it treasured the history of the town from the natives. However, in the year 2000 it was inaugurated as the Museo de la Comandancia de las FAR (Museum of the FAR Command).
It is divided into five rooms, where you can see everything that happened during the three days of the attempted invasion of the United States in April 1961: documents, images, the uniforms, insignia and weapons of the rebels, Fidel Castro's telephone, or pieces of military equipment.
