Playa de Varadero (Varadero Beach) is considered by many to be the most beautiful beach on the entire island of Cuba thanks to its warm, crystal-clear waters and fine, white sand. Although it's known popularly as Playa de Varadero to the whole coastal line of the peninsula of Hicacos, in the province of Matanzas, in fact, it is made up of six different beaches, of which Varadero is the most extensive with 10,8 km. Rincón Francés and La Alameda are the next in size, and another three less extensive beaches add up to a total of almost 20 km of beach separated by small rocky jetties.

Although to enjoy Playa de Varadero it doesn't take much, just lying on the sand while enjoying the rumble of the waves and a cool cocktail will make your trip worthwhile. It's the ideal place for you to disconnect and relax without thinking about anything else.
