The Frank and Josue País House Museum in Santiago de Cuba pays tribute, as its name indicates, since 1964 to two of the most transcendental revolutionaries that have been in Cuba. Show your respect for the perseverance and tenacity of those who wanted to make this world a better place and get to know the details kept in this property.
What seems at first to be a tiny corner of the nation's history, is actually the place where the Movement of July 26, 1957 was hatched, which was intended to end Fulgencio Batista and, consequently, the dictatorial regime imposed . Therefore, although they may be somewhat unknown to those inveterate travelers in search of adventure, they are very important for the independence struggle, which is why it was declared a National Monument in 1978.
In this museum you will find three rooms that recreate the domestic home set with photos to fully immerse yourself in the event and make your stay even more realistic if possible. You will also see lots of family assets, especially Frank and Josue but also her mother, a brave woman who outlived both children as well as a key figure in her sadly short lives.
