Calle de la Santeria is a market in Santiago de Cuba in which a few stalls sell very peculiar objects, some even bordering on the mystical, to anyone who comes near or interested. It is located precisely on that street because the surrounding area continued to profess Afro-Cuban cults during the wars of independence, unlike the rest of Cuba that focused on the conflict. You have to be especially careful because it is not a common market where you find food or clothes, since most purchases are designed for religious practices.
