The Alameda Park in Santiago de Cuba is located in an especially beautiful place between the bay and the cruise terminal of this Cuban city. In the Marina neighborhood, people come to this point to enjoy a quiet walk while the cool breeze accompanies them and the sound of the sea acts as a soundtrack.
With the beautiful views of the sea from this walk, little more is needed to justify it as one of the favorite places in the town for citizens and visitors. In addition, this square is decorated by fountains, gardens and trees under which to shelter from the sun in the central hours of the day.
Passing through the two central welcoming arches of the Alameda Park means the beginning of a moment of tranquility after a whole day of a thousand emotions while you walk next to the monuments of José Martí, Michaelsen (benefactor of the city to whom this place is dedicated) , Clara Barton and Lambton Lorraine and the beautiful Clock Tower you may fall a little more in love with this city.
