The Fototeca de Cuba is a cultural institution that was founded in 1986. It is devoted to promoting, exhibiting, and preserving Cuban photography. The photo library houses two main galleries: the María Eugenia Haya gallery and the Joaquín Blez gallery. The María Eugenia Haya gallery on the first floor displays the work of Haya and other well-known photographers. On the second floor, the Joaquín Blez gallery exhibits the work of emerging photographers.
