You can find the Centro Cultural Pablo de la Torriente Brau (Pablo de la Torriente Brau Cultural Center) near the Plaza Vieja (Old Town Square), one of the four main plazas in Old Havana. This modern-style cultural center stands out against the colonial buildings in this historic area of the city.

The Centro Cultural Pablo de la Torriente Brau is an independent cultural institution. It aims to develop programs that promote Cuban history, heritage, research, and preservations of the country’s history. The institution was established thanks to the help of a diverse advisory committee made up of professionals and recognized Cuban figures. It also counted on the support of the Ministerio de Cultura (Culture Ministry), the Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad (City Historian’s Office), and the Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (Union of Cuban Writers and Artists).

Some of the activities visitors can participate in at the cultural center include workshops, concerts, exhibitions and art seminars.
