The Eastern Beaches are a group of tropical beaches located 18 km east of Havana. They are completely natural areas, with crystal-clear waters, white sand and exuberant vegetation. In each of them, you will find different environments and different types of entertainment and activities.
Although we are talking about a single coastal area, it is divided into 7 different beaches. The first of them, in terms of approaching Havana, is Bacuranao Beach. It is the most crowded of all, with several stores, hotels and restaurants, and a river flows into it. The second one is Mégano Beach, also very popular and with different lodging and hotel offers. Then there is Santa María del Mar Beach, with resorts and fine sand dunes. The fourth in this order is Boca Ciega Beach, popular among gay couples and surrounded by coconut trees. The fifth is Guanabo Beach, the largest of all, with discos and houses offering to lodge. The sixth is Jibacoa Beach, located in a cove and of great scenic attraction. And the last one is Trópico Beach, with impressive crystalline waters.
