The Napoleonic Museum of Vedado in Havana holds more than 7,000 of Napoleon Bonaparte’s personal items and weapons. The breathtaking Renaissance-style mansion also served as a home for Orestes Ferrara, the Cuban politician who initiated the collection.
Voltaire’s sketches, paintings of the Battle of Waterloo in 1875, a bronze mask made by Napoleon’s personal doctor, furniture from his property, and a series of pistols that Napoleon, himself, carried to the infamous Battle of Borodino are a few of the museum's highlights. The Napoleonic museum is the one with the most military objects in the world.
